My Brand

Throughout my time of creating my brand, I had to think about what makes me, me, and what do I want to show that will represent myself to others even before they know me.

As I go through dozens of different sketches looking for an idea to spark and become my logo, I was starting to worry in that nothing I have done so far is what I want my logo to be. Then it hit me. I have a love for animals so what if I incorporate an animal somehow. From there, I looked at some of my favorite animals, and I took a deeper look at what a wolf can represent about someone. That is where a spark hit and I have figured out my logo. I decided to have a wolf with flowers as my logo. A wolf represents guardianship, loyalty, and spirit, and they often need to trust their own instincts. This represents me in many ways in that I am loyal and at times I can second guess my instincts and need to learn that they are there to help me and that I need to learn to trust them at certain times. Also, the wolf helps me to believe in myself and that I can do it.

However, I needed to have it be shown in a unique way that will be specific to me. I have loved the geometric design in how it can make something that’s 2D look 3D. So I decided to have the wolf have that effect, but not show the entire head of the wolf. Then i was time to figure out the flowers. Every chance I get to doodle or draw, I instantly start drawing flowers, all types and sizes. After gaining inspiration by looking at different types of flowers, I decided to do my own version in order to make it more unique. As for the colors, I used my favorite colors, blue and purple. I also took a look at the meanings of the colors and it solidified my logo. Purple symbolizes ambition, creativity, wisdom, dignity, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic. While blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, and truth. These colors just like the wolf helps me to believe in myself and with confidence and creativity, I can accomplish anything.
